As part of a long-term partnership, AXA Banque, AXA France’s banking subsidiary, decided in September 2020 to delegate some of its IT and back-office activities to two banking and securities services providers of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group: Arkéa Banking Services and Arkéa ProCapital Services.
As of October 1st, 2020, AXA Banque has therefore transferred to Arkéa ProCapital Services its securities activities concerning order execution, account safekeeping and custody for the Free Management and Private Management services for individual clients.
This strategic project, which aims to support AXA Banque’s development by providing it with Arkéa ProCapital’s Services expertise, experience and quality of service, is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.
Arkéa ProCapital’s Services will take over the custody account management of AXA Banque’s unrestricted management accounts at the end of 2021, as well as all trading, execution, administrative account management and custody activities for AXA Banque’s private management accounts.
On the other hand, AXA Banque will retain all of its other activities, including customer relationship management.
This partnership with the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa entities reflects AXA Banque’s desire to drive a new phase of transformation. “We are convinced that, in a banking market undergoing a technological revolution, this collaboration will enable us to be even more responsive and innovative, and will be a major asset in terms of customer experience” explains Marie-Cécile Plessix, CEO of AXA Banque.
