BNP Paribas Securities Services, a leading global custodian with 13,249 billion euros in assets under custody, has been mandated by ProCapital, an investment services provider and subsidiary of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa. The mandate covers European markets and includes local and global custody, clearing, securities lending, AutoForex, and listed derivatives execution and clearing services.
With this mandate, ProCapital benefits from BNP Paribas’ Execution-to-Custody solution to provide integrated execution ofcash equity buy/sell orders in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, as well as local and global custody. The Execution-to-Custody solution, which combines the Global Markets business line’s execution capabilities with the Securities Services business line’s custody and settlement offering, enables ProCapital to streamline and automate the flow of transactions, from execution to settlement, for the benefit of its customers.
ProCapital also benefits from the centralizedbooking model managed by Securities Services, giving it direct access to several European markets through a single local clearing, settlement and custody infrastructure.
This new mandate extends ProCapital’s relationship with BNP Paribas, whose Securities Services business line has been providing it with local and global custody services in the United States since 2021.
